Sunday in the NFL belongs to Shedeur Sanders as he embarks on his first NFL start.
Sanders’ journey to the NFL has been shaped not only by his talent but also by the presence of two famous parents: Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders.
The 23-year-old son of Deion Sanders, out of Colorado, played a half last week vs. the Baltimore Ravens after fellow rookie start Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion that is also keeping him out today.
Shedeur, who had his home robbed during this game, would only go 4-for-16 with 47 yards and an interception.
Now, with a whole week of reps with the first team, he is ready to hit the field.
In his corner on this day were both of his parents.
Pilar Sanders took to her Instagram story and posted a photo of herself wearing a Shedeur Sanders’ shirt and a Browns’ Jacket.

Pilar had an eventful day last week when she called out the Browns for not giving Shedeur any first-round reps.
Shedeur Sanders Has a Chance To Silence His Critics

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders received his first taste of the NFL regular season, making his debut in Week 11. It wasn’t pretty, but he would get another shot the following week.
Speaking to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, an NFL source said, “There are no more excuses” when it comes to the Cleveland Browns signal-caller’s on-field performance.
It was an ugly showing for Sanders, who completed just four of his 16 passing attempts for 47 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
A fifth-round pick out of Colorado, Sanders has a great chance of playing well and winning against a bad Raiders’ team.
His performance today will determine whether he will continue to start for the team, which has nothing to play for.
