Jared Goff is already having a tough game against the New York Giants, but getting kicked in the head doesn’t help matters.
Late in the third quarter, Giants defensive star Rakeem Nunez-Roches got his third sack of the season when he got to the Detroit Lions quarterback.
Like all defensive players do, he went right into celebrating.
Unfortunately for Jared Goff, as Rakeem Nunez-Roches started high-stepping during his celebration, he accidentally kicked him in the helmet.

No call was made by the refs.

It has been a tough few weeks for Goff. Just last week, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was caught pointing and laughing at him following an incomplete pass.
With a career low completion percentage performance full of batted down passes and fourth down stops, Goff spoke with 97.1 The Ticket about his gloves that may have had an impact on him.
“Yeah, I’ve been wearing them for a while. I had some of my best games wearing them. Yeah, I think when it’s cold or windy and it’s a little dry out, it helps me a lot. But, no, yeah, I think it’s funny that, you know, games that go well, it doesn’t get asked about, but no, I understand. I understand. We didn’t play well. I didn’t play well, so got to be better.”
With today’s game taking place within the comfy confines of Ford Field, Goff won’t have his gloves or the weather to blame should his Lions come up short in week 12.
