Two notable changes have been made to the NFL schedule for Week 16.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that the NFL has moved their pivotal Week 16 road game against the Washington Commanders to the 5:00 p.m. EST slot on Dec. 20.

Additionally, the Chicago Bears’ home game against the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 20 has been flexed to the 8:20 p.m. EST slot, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. That means two big NFC matchups on the NFL schedule for the Saturday before Christmas.
The Eagles (8-4) are trying to hold off the red-hot Dallas Cowboys (6-5-1) for the NFC East division lead. The Packers (8-3-1) host the 9-3 Bears at Lambeau Field this Sunday, the first of two meetings in 13 days.
One notable change was recently made to the NFL schedule for Week 14, with the Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals game moving up to 1:00 p.m. EST. The Bears-Packers game was moved to the more attractive 4:25 p.m. EST slot.
Other Potential Late-Season NFL Schedule Changes To Watch For

The NFL has 12 to give a 12-day notice if they want to flex any games on ‘Sunday Night Football.’ The Dallas Cowboys-Minnesota Vikings Week 14 clash may not look appealing with the NFC North club out of the playoff race, but the Cowboys’ status as a ratings juggernaut probably won’t result in a flex there.
However, the league has an easy decision to swap out the Week 16 ‘SNF’ clash between the 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals and the 5-7 Miami Dolphins. The Los Angeles Chargers-Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars-Denver Broncos or Baltimore Ravens-New England Patriots clashes would be ideal games to flex in favor of Cincy-Miami.
All Week 18 games have “TBD” time slots, but the league will bump up two games with significant playoff implications to Jan. 3 (a Saturday).
