Los Angeles Chargers superfan Merrianne Do had the sports world in a grip in 2023.

Do, who had allegations of being a fake fan surface, was in the stands, going crazy and cheering on the Chargers against the Cowboys.

Inside State Farm Stadium in 2024, she was back getting airtime as the Chargers faced the Cardinals.

Now, social media is getting yet another viral story about Merrianne Do.

The Los Angeles Chargers are not one of those teams that have a rabid fan base.

In fact, their stadium is usually taken over by the opposing fans quite regularly.

One person you will always see is superfan Merrianne Do. She became an icon of the team in 2023.

Many fans have called her out for being a plant, but Simi Fehoko is singing a different tune.

The former Chargers wide receiver took to X to share a “Crazy story about her.”

“Me and all the boys (literally whole O line, QBs, couple WR’s were out one weekend during OTA’s at a very very lowkey restaurant. Reservations booked under aliases, literally incognito, nowhere near Costa Mesa or stadium.”

Simi Fehoko, who played for the team in 2023 and 2024, says that Merrianne Do and her husband then come walking in.

“As we’re eating, her and her husband come walking in and sit at the table reserved right next to us. No way could they have known we were going to be there, just insane luck.”

Fehoko added that Do and her husband are superfans and not fake ones.

“They were decked out in chargers gear, so I hate to burst the conspiracy that she is an industry plant, however I can very much confirm, her and her husband are die hard Chargers fan.”

Do would see the viral post about the interaction and respond in the comment section.

The Los Angeles Chargers are trying their best to give her more to cheer for as they attempt to make a playoff run.

As of Week 13, the Los Angeles Chargers hold a Wild Card spot in the AFC with an 8-4 record, placing them fifth in the conference standings.

Things are not going to get any easier for them due to Justin Herbert’s surgery. Their current playoff percentage is approximately 61%, but it increases to over 75% if they win their next game, according to NFL.com.
