Cleveland Browns superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett and San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle had a priceless one-on-one interaction before Sunday’s game at Huntington Bank Field.

Kittle’s 49ers made easy work of the Browns, who struggled offensively in Shedeur Sanders’ first home start as a pro. The visitors made life frustrating for Cleveland to a point where star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was seen snapping at Sanders on the sidelines.

Amid another frustrating season for the 3-9 Browns, there is at least one exciting storyline to follow: Myles Garrett needs just four more sacks (he’s up to 19 this year) to break the single-season record of 22.5, shared by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt.

Before the game, mic’d up cameras caught Kittle and Garrett exchanging friendly requests.

“I just need you to stop chipping me if you don’t mind,” Myles Garrett tells George Kittle.

“No. Dude, your five-sack game was crazy,” Kittle responded. “Keep going man, it’s fun to watch. Please don’t break the record today, but I’ll tell Brock (Purdy) to give you one.”

Garrett requested two in a lighthearted reply. He finished with one in the 26-8 loss.

The good news for Garrett and rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders? The Browns host football’s worst team, the Tennessee Titans, on Sunday. There’s a prime opportunity for Garrett and Sanders to rack up the numbers.

Myles Garrett Should Reconsider His Future With Cleveland

In February, Myles Garrett publicly requested a trade from the Browns, citing his desire to play for a contender. In a surprising twist, however, he ultimately agreed to a four-year extension worth $160 million.

But the Browns are nowhere close to contending. They don’t even know if their long-term starting QB is on the roster. The entire offensive line needs a reboot. The wide receiver room offers little outside of Jerry Jeudy, and there are too many holes in the secondary and at linebacker.

Cleveland is wasting a historic season from Garrett, and he oughta reconsider his future with the club. At 30 years of age, he’s not getting any younger nor closer to a Super Bowl.
