Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has received a positive update regarding his DUI matter, with his punishment set to end early.

Addison was arrested for the aforementioned offense last July and was subsequently suspended by the NFL.

According to The New York Post, his probation is ending eight months before the scheduled termination date. The WR’s attorney, Jacqueline Sparanga, delivered proof of his meeting all the requirements set as part of his plea deal, leading to termination.

“Jordan Addison had his probation terminated nearly eight months early this week, The Post can exclusively report,” the outlet noted.

“Jordan fulfilled every one of his obligations on time and without exception, often going above and beyond what was required of him,” Sparanga said in a statement. “Now that his probation has been formally terminated, we will be filing an expungement so he can fully move forward with his life.”

Addison was arrested under suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles in July 2024—the L.A. City Attorney’s Office has confirmed that his probation is over, but didn’t comment.

It’s alleged that the player fell asleep behind the wheel of a Rolls-Royce and blocked a freeway lane near Los Angeles International Airport.

He initially denied the allegations but ultimately agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge: “wet reckless” driving.

Addison was issued a 12-month probation and was fined $390. He was also ordered to complete two online courses.

The NFL proceeded to suspend him for three games for violating its substance abuse policy.

He returned in Week 4 and has since registered 33 receptions for 448 yards and three touchdowns in nine games.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are 4-8 following a dip from last season. They play the 3-9 Washington Commanders on Sunday.
