Jones’ impressive campaign with the Colts is over following a brutal non-contact injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
The quarterback dropped back and suddenly dropped back on a pass attempt nearing the end of the first quarter.
Unfortunately, something went wrong as he went down without contact. NFL fans are familiar with those types of injuries.

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback was already dealing with a fractured fibula. Now, he’s dealing with a new injury.
Jones will undergo surgery after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After the game, Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that Jones’ injury could end his season, saying, It’s not looking good.”
The 28-year-old is a free agent in the offseason.
In the midst of a playoff race, Indianapolis is in bad shape.
