Indianapolis Colts wide receiver had a negative “double whammy” on the same play during Sunday’s crucial Week 14 road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In the third quarter, Riley Leonard connected with Michael Pittman Jr. for what appeared to be a touchdown. Pittman’s momentum took him out of bounds, where he inadvertently collided with a security guard.

And if Pittman didn’t feel bad enough about the accidental collision? The touchdown was called back due to a questionable offensive pass interference call:
🚨🚨AWFUL CALL🚨🚨
The refs just took a touchdown off the board for the #Colts on one of the worst offensive pass interference calls ever on wide rveeuevr Michael Pittman Jr.
😳
ONE OF THE WORST CALLS YOU WILL SEE. Indianapolis has to be extremely angry.pic.twitter.com/anV0ciOUTu

Per Jaguars reporter Mia O’Brien, the security guard got up and appeared to be okay. O’Brien added that the guard seemingly declined a request to be evaluated for a concussion.
It was just another play where nothing went right for Michael Pittman Jr. the Colts. They lost star quarterback Daniel Jones with an Achilles injury on a non-contact play, and it remains to be seen if it was a season-ending injury.
