Paige Spiranac is committing a sports sin. Around sports, no matter which one you choose, fans usually have one team they cheer for. It is certainly frowned upon to cheer for multiple teams in the same league.

Over the years, we have seen fans and public figures rocking split jerseys. Last year, Tony Romo’s son faced backlash for his Bills-Chiefs split jersey. Romo spent all 13 years of his career with Dallas, so it was an interesting decision.

Now, Paige Spiranac is facing major backlash over her NFL decision.

The stunning sports media influencer and golf personality has millions of fans across social media. This time, however, she is facing backlash after posing in a Steelers jersey prior to Sunday Night Football. She then followed that up by posing in a Lions jersey.

NFL fans took issue with it.

“No u can’t have two teams 😝,” one fan said.

“Cochina team trader,” a second fan wrote.

“You can’t have it both ways. 😉,” a third fan stated to Paige Spiranac.

“Pick a lane Paige,” one final fan commented.

Spiranac was going to win on Sunday Night, no matter what happened.

After the Steelers scored a touchdown to go up 29-17, all seemed lost for the Lions. Detroit mounted a furious comeback. They scored in about two minutes to bring it to 29-24. The team needed to go 73 yards for the win.

Detroit worked its way into a first-and-goal at the 1-yard line with 25 seconds left. Jared Goff found Amon-Ra St. Brown, who was a yard short of the goal line. He then threw the ball to Goff, who jumped into the end zone. But the offensive pass interference took the touchdown off the board. The pool report from the refs explained the chaotic ending.

The Steelers escaped with the win.
