What’s Next For Trevon Diggs?

The Dallas Cowboys are walking away from a player who once looked like the future of the franchise. Dallas reportedly released cornerback Trevon Diggs on Tuesday. The move comes just two years after the team signed Diggs to a five-year, $97 million extension.
Diggs had a breakout 2021 season, leading the NFL with 11 interceptions. He tied the Cowboys’ single-season franchise record held by Everson Walls. His 11 picks paved the way for his massive deal. Now, he is no longer part of their future.
Trevon Diggs has played in just eight games this season, bouncing in and out of Dallas’ lineup. It remains to be seen where he ends up after this.
