John Harbaugh has reportedly made his choice.

The former Baltimore Ravens head coach is a wanted man around the league following his surprising exit this week.

It’s been reported that there are teams with head coaches which are enticed by the possibility of hiring Harbaugh at the expense of their lead men. And it appears he will have his pick of the bunch.

Harbaugh was handed his marching orders after the Ravens lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. If an NFL script does exist, then the league couldn’t have written this up any better. The fourth quarter of the do-or-die matchup was a thrilling watch.

It ended in a Tyler Loop field goal blunder that broke Baltimore.

The miss handed the AFC North to the Steelers and also meant the Ravens would not be going to the playoffs.

It resulted in one of the most shocking dismissals in recent memory, with Harbaugh facing the axe.

The coach’s unexpected availability has triggered a mad rush around the NFL. Rumors claim it played a huge part in Mike McDaniel’s firing in Miami, though the team has pushed back on that.

While there is denial, the Dolphins have made no secret of their desire to bring Harbaugh in, but they may have a hard time getting a deal done.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan is reporting that, despite the interest from the Dolphins, Harbaugh wants the New York Giants job. Raanan notes that the interest is mutual.

“Despite the Dolphins expected pursuit, John Harbaugh still has interest in the Giants job and an interview is likely middle of next week,” he tweeted on Friday.

“Jaxson Dart’s presence is a significant reason for the interest,” he added. “Everything I’ve heard is the Giants want Harbaugh badly.”

It appears that the Giants have an edge over the other teams interested in John Harbaugh. The possibility of him coaching Jaxson Dart is also very intriguing.
