The Bears have been clawing their way to wins all season, battling through adversity and refusing to surrender. They outscored the Packers 25-6 in the fourth quarter on Saturday, going ahead with 1:43 on the clock.
“We’ve done this multiple times this year,” Williams said after the comeback, per ESPN. “It’s been proven for us to be a great second-half team. If the game comes down to the last play, if the game comes down to the last two minutes, I believe in us, and that’ll keep going forever.”
The second-year quarterback went 24-of-48 for 361 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the 31-27 win. Cameras caught him snapping on his coaches at one point.
The Bears await their next opponent, with Sunday’s showdown between the Eagles and 49ers set to determine their path forward.
