Fans noticed a significant change to NBC Sports’ broadcast for ‘Sunday Night Football’ during the New England Patriots-Los Angeles Chargers Wild Card Round game.

On Saturday, a screenshot of what appeared to be the ‘Sunday Night Football’ scorebug leaked. Fans began speculating that NBC Sports was set to reveal a brand new scorebug ahead of Super Bowl 60.

As it turns out, that was precisely the case.

Here’s a comparison of the old scorebug vs. the new scorebug for ‘Sunday Night Football.’

NBC Sports will broadcast Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium (home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers) on Feb. 8. This will be the first time the network airs the big game since Super Bowl 56, four years ago.

The field for Super Bowl 60 will be down to eight teams after the Pittsburgh Steelers-Houston Texans game on ‘Monday Night Football.’

Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth of ‘SNF’ will call the Super Bowl. They’ll also be in the broadcast booth to air one of the Divisional Round games. It remains to be seen which game they’ll air. Usually, they call one of the NFC Divisional Round games. We’ll see if that changes this year.
