Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Charles Snowden has gotten a massive break in his case.
The 27-year-old was arrested in December 2024 after officers found him asleep and unresponsive in a running SUV. The vehicle was near Rainbow Boulevard and Sunset Road in Vegas, but Snowden told officers he was in Florida.
Authorities said he “had almost rolled off a four-foot retaining wall.”
Police took two blood samples from the player, which had concentrations over twice the legal limit in Nevada.
His attorneys entered a no-contest plea to a misdemeanor DUI charge on his behalf on Tuesday. However, if he complies with the terms of a plea agreement, he could avoid a conviction.

Prosecutors will lower the charge to reckless driving if he completes the requirements. The DUI conviction will remain on his record if not.
As mentioned above, the Raiders star was arrested two Decembers ago. He was in the driver’s seat of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had almost rolled off a retaining wall.
Bodycam footage from that night surfaced online only recently. You can see it below:
Snowden’s lawyers entered the plea on the day of his bench trial.
