Patriots owner Robert Kraft attended the AFC Championship game on Sunday in cold, rainy Foxboro.
Kraft’s presence on the sideline drew powerful attention from fans in the stadium. But it also got attention from many others on social media. The 84-year-old Patriots owner braved the 32°F cold by rocking a team jacket. He did so while watching the game from field level.
However, his support would turn into concern.

Kraft has come a long way from a tumultuous 2019. During that year, Jupiter police announced that Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution. It was in connection with a Florida spa tied to an international human trafficking ring.
Jupiter police chief Daniel Kerr stated video evidence shows Kraft involved in sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa. Three years after that incident, Kraft married Dana Blumberg.
His New England Patriots defeated the Houston Texans in the 2026 NFL divisional round. They are moving on to the AFC Championship Game. They advance to play the top-seeded Denver Broncos, who will be without injured quarterback Bo Nix.
The winner advances to Super Bowl LX.
In Mike Vrabel’s first season as coach, the Patriots will make their 16th conference championship game appearance. Robert Kraft surely made the right decision in hiring him as head coach.
It wasn’t a pretty effort. Drake Maye finished 16 of 27 for 179 yards, but had an interception and fumbled four times. One of Maye’s fumbles set up Houston’s first touchdown. Luckily, CJ Stroud was much worse. Carlton Davis III had two interceptions for New England. Craig Woodson added an interception and a fumble recovery.
