ESPN Leaked Major Upcoming Change To Their NFL Scorebug Before Playoff Game, And Fans Are Loving It [PHOTO]

ESPN might have leaked a significant change to its ‘Monday Night Football’ broadcast for 2026.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have now completed their fourth season with ESPN and ‘Monday Night Football.’ Their season ended after calling the Houston Texans-New England Patriots Divisional Round Game at Gillette Stadium.

Before the game, someone noticed ESPN displaying a different scorebug for its ‘MNF’ program. It appeared to be a test run, as the scorebug showed the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs:

We’ll have to wait and see next season if this is indeed ESPN’s new ‘MNF’ scorebug. NBC Sports launched a new one for the start of the postseason, and they’ll broadcast Super Bowl 60 on Feb. 8. Troy Aikman’s deal with ESPN is for five years and worth around $90 million, the New York Post reported.

Buck and Aikman were partners at Fox Sports from 2001 to 2021 before taking ESPN’s offers. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady are now the No. 1 team at Fox Sports. They’ll call the NFC Championship Game next week.

ESPN is set to broadcast Super Bowl 61 next year. The legendary duo of Aikman and Buck will presumably be on the call for that game. Their respective deals with ESPN also expire after the 2026 season.
