Tom Brady has gone viral as a result of his curious actions at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
The former New England Patriots quarterback was trending for his blatant lie on national television last weekend. But he’s in the social media headlines for a much better reason this time around.
Brady’s old team defeated the Houston Texans 28-16 at home on the day. The Divisional Round tilt obviously had significant implications. But it was also notable as it marked the return of a familiar face.
Brady retired after the 2022 NFL season following an illustrious career with the Pats and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was spotted in a suite during Sunday’s win, one in which the team qualified for its first AFC Championship Game since his departure.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner also spent some time down on the grass throwing the football around, something he’s done all season before heading to the broadcast booth.
The Environment Was Perhaps A Bit Too Famliar For Tom Brady

With ESPN covering the game, Brady was not at the stadium to call the game, but he mingled all the same.
Cameras caught him instinctively reaching for handwarmers which were not there after throwing a pass.
“He instinctively reached for the Foxboro hand warmers 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔,” one account noted.
“Damn: The legendary Tom Brady instinctively reached for his hand warmers after playing catch on the field. You can tell how much he misses it 😔💔,” another shared.
The game was symbolic in that Brady was in a box while the new face of the franchise, Drake Maye, was on the field. The second-year quarterback threw three touchdown passes in the frigid temperatures, putting in a shift reminiscent of Brady’s playoff poise.
Of course, there’s still plenty of work to be done. The Patriots have to get past a formidable Denver Broncos side to return to the Super Bowl.
They have been reminded of their struggles against backup QBs in important games following Bo Nix’s injury.
