Social media is ruthlessly calling out Tom Brady over his bizarre comment during the Los Angeles Rams-Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt wrap up their second season together in the broadcast booth today. NBC Sports will air Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium, home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, in two weeks.

During the first quarter of the NFC Championship Game, Brady made a comment about wanting the refs to let them play “unless there’s blood.” Here’s the clip of him saying it:

Fans wasted no time calling out Brady for his comment, calling it the ultimate hypocrisy.

“Brady: “Let them play. It’s the playoffs.” Also Tom Brady: constantly complained about calls and benefited from a made-up rule,” a fan said.

“Brady in the 1st quarter of this game: “Let ‘em play! Unless there’s blood, don’t call it.” Tom Brady during 70% of his career,” a user commented.

“If there’s no blood let them play” – Tom Brady 2026,” another commented.

“Brady saying to the refs, “Let them play” is genuinely making me tweak,” a fan said.

“Brady: “let them play. If there’s no blood, don’t call it.” Tom Brady when a guy in section 147 ordered the wrong lite beer,” a fan stated.

“Did BRADY just say “unless there’s blood just let ‘em play”??? ….. the Brady that would get a flag or cry if anyone placed one finger on him?” asked a user.

Brady signed a 10-year deal worth $375 million with Fox Sports in 2022, the New York Post reported at the time. He drew immense criticism in his first season as an analyst, but there has been tremendous improvement in year two.

Fans especially enjoyed Brady’s savage comment directed at the San Francisco 49ers during last week’s loss to the Seahawks.
