Fernando Mendoza’s crafty LinkedIn posts have landed the Heisman Trophy winner a major business deal, days after declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.

The 22-year-old Mendoza has established himself as a world-class LinkedIn poster. After leading the Indiana Hoosiers to a national championship last week, Mendoza made LinkedIn post about how the triumph taught him more about “B2B sales”.

And yes, Fernando Mendoza updated his LinkedIn after winning the Heisman Trophy.

His creative and humorous posts there have also landed Mendoza a partnership ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Speaking to Jake Kring-Schreifels of Front Office Sports, LinkedIn announced that it has agreed to a partnership with Fernando Mendoza. Full details aren’t clear, with the company telling Kring-Schreifels, “as of last week, we’re working with Fernando in a more integrated capacity. We’re excited to continue working with him moving forward.”

With the NFL awaiting him, Mendoza will soon line up several lucrative endorsement and business deals, too.

Fernando Mendoza Will Likely Go First Overall To The Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders landed the No. 1 pick after finishing with a 3-14 record. The offseason blockbuster trade for Geno Smith failed miserably, and head coach Pete Carroll was let go after one disastrous season.

Las Vegas desperately needs a quarterback. Mendoza is far and away the best in the 2026 NFL Draft class. There is no competition after Oregon star Dante Moore decided to return to college for another year.

Unless the Raiders get an offer they can’t refuse for the No. 1 pick, they have an easy choice to select the Indiana quarterback. Mendoza would join a promising offensive nucleus led by running back Ashton Jeanty and tight end Brock Bowers.

Mendoza would also have the luxury of learning from Raiders minority owner Tom Brady, the most decorated and accomplished player in NFL history.
