The New England Patriots have decided on their uniform for the upcoming Super Bowl 60.

The Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos in last weekend’s AFC Championship game and will have their fate decided against the Seattle Seahawks.

It will mark their first appearance in the big game since 2019.

The latter came out on top of a thriller against the Los Angeles Rams, and they’re now set for a fourth Super Bowl appearance.

According to Mike Reiss, a reporter who covers the Pats for ESPN, Mike Vrabel’s side will stick to the colors from their last game.

They are going to wear their clean white jerseys along with white pants. The Patriots are the “home” team in the Super Bowl. Consequently, they get to choose their threads.

“Now official: The Patriots will wear their white jersey/white pants combination in Super Bowl LX,” Reiss reported on Thursday. “They had the choice as the “home” team.”

The New England Patriots have had better results with white in the Super Bowl. They are 4-3 in said color and are 2-2 in blue. Moreover, they have never won in red, losing their only game.

They lost that game to the Chicago Bears in 1986.

They played the Green Bay Packers in white back in 1997 and also lost.

New England switched to blue for their showdown vs. the St Louis Rams in 2002 and won that game. They kept it for their Super Bowl tilt against the Carolina Panthers for another win the following year.

The Patriots switched to white for their 2004 clash against the Philadelphia Eagles, resulting in another win.

They switched back to blue against the New York Giants in 2007, wearing the same color in 2011. They lost both times.

They played the Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, Eagles and Rams in white in their next four SB appearances, winning all save against Philly in 2018.
