Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady spent many years playing together. They won Super Bowls and became close friends in both New England and Tampa Bay. Now Gronk says he’s seeing a different side of Brady than he used to.

Gronkowski spoke about it during an appearance on the Today show on Thursday before Super Bowl LX. The hosts asked him a simple question that Is Brady more fun now that he’s single than when he was married?

Gronkowski came up with a clear answer. “Definitely single Tom Brady, here’s the problem, we flipped the script,” he said with a laugh. He then explained how their roles have flipped since their playing days together.

Gronkowski Mentions About The Change

Gronkowski recalled their early years in the NFL. He said he entered the league as a single player. Brady, at the time, lived as a married man with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Gronkowski joked that he once saw Brady as boring.

“I was like, ‘Hey, this guy’s lame. He’ll never go out with me,’” Gronkowski said on Today.

That dynamic has changed. Gronkowski now spends quiet time at home with his longtime girlfriend, model Camille Kostek. Brady, meanwhile, fills his weekends with social outings. “Now, he’s going out every weekend and I’m at home with my girl,” Gronkowski said.

Brady divorced Gisele Bundchen in 2022. Since then, people have followed his personal life closely. Reports have linked him to several well-known women, including Sofia Vergara, Irina Shayk, and Brooks Nader.

More recently, some reports connected Brady to influencer Alix Earle. Many said they saw them talking closely at a yacht party in St. Barths. Later reports said it was nothing serious.

Tom Brady has also talked about life after football. He now works as a color commentator for Fox Sports. He says his job keeps him very busy. In an interview with People, he explained his focus right now.

“You know what? I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself,” Brady said. “But I love working and I love my kids.”

He added that he stays busy with work and new projects. Moreover he said he enjoys building teams and doing positive things.

For Gronkowski, the change still feels strange.
