Supercomputer’s Bombshell Pick for Super Bowl 60 Winner—It’s Way Closer Than You Think

After two dramatic conference championship games, the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will face off in Super Bowl 60. These two teams met on the same stage 11 years ago. The Pats took a dramatic 28-24 win, decided in the very last play.
Many were suspicious after the NFL’s X account shared a graphic featuring the Pats and Seahawks. It seemed to signal which teams would play in the Super Bowl on Feb. 8. New England escaped Mile High Stadium with a 10-7 win over the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks held off the Rams to secure a 31-27 win and punch the ticket to the ultimate game.
The Seahawks enter the game as 4.5-point favorites, according to multiple betting markets. However, the Patriots have not backed down even when seen as the underdogs. They could shock the world next Sunday.
Supercomputer Sees Seahawks Winning Super Bowl 60

A supercomputer, done by Opta Analyst, predicted the winner of Super Bowl 60, seven days before the showdown at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The model “calculates projections by looking at each team’s quarterback and EVE (efficiency vs. expected) performance in terms of yards added in expected passing situations. The model then analyzes every regular-season matchup and assigns each team a predicted win percentage for its games. For preseason rankings, it incorporates how quarterback and coaching changes might impact those teams.”
The official prediction gave the Seahawks a 51.9 percent chance of winning and the Patriots a 48.1 percent chance.
New England has overcome criticism and doubts all season long. Mike Vrabel made it clear they don’t pay attention to any of that and focus only on winning games. In seven days, they will have the chance to prove the supercomputer and the betting markets wrong.
