Russell Wilson found himself trending over the weekend after his name appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The New York Giants quarterback appeared in the files of the deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. It came following the release of a new batch of Justice Department documents on Friday.
The documents contained correspondence that briefly mentioned Wilson. It was in connection with Epstein’s Gulfstream G-IV private jet.
Among millions of pages of documents published, there were two email chains. They were between Epstein and his personal pilot, Larry Visoski. They discussed Wilson as a potential buyer of Epstein’s Gulfstream G-IV private jet in 2019.
At least four NFL owners’ names have come up in the latest round of Jeffrey Epstein files released, including Steve Tisch. His emails have since been exposed.
What Was Said Between Russell Wilson & Jeffrey Epstein

“Jeffrey,” Visoski wrote to Epstein on Jan. 27, 2019. “Russell Wilson (Seattle SeaHawks quarterback) is calling Gary non-Stop since his viewing yesterday. He wants your GIV.”
Epstein then gave Visoski his permission to fly the plane for Wilson, according to the Justice Department emails. Visoski told Epstein that during this flight, Wilson “took many photos and video” with his wife, Ciara. That flight likely happened months after the Miami Herald published in “Perversion of Justice.” It was an investigative series covering sexual abuse allegations against Epstein.

“Russell wants to sign his new contract with Seattle SeaHawks before letting the media and his team know that he is Purchasing a Plane, he is concerned it will effect his contract negotiations for some reason??” Visoski added. “Russell is asking for a way to lock up the plane until his deal is signed, could be 2 weeks, or 2 months, or more.”
Later that spring, Wilson did end up signing a four-year, $140 million contract extension with Seattle. That contract was the richest in NFL history.
It was later revealed that Russell Wilsn did not purchase the plane. However, Wilson ultimately did purchase a 2000 Gulfstream G-IV.
