Dwight Smith has social media going crazy over past comments that he made.
The former Buccaneers Super Bowl Champion made it clear that every Super Bowl is predetermined and that Las Vegas decides who will win the Super Bowl,” based on which team will make them the most money.
Former Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins running back Arian Foster was basically the catalyst for this type of thinking. Foster said the outcomes of games came from a script that all received before the games.
“We were really dedicated to [the NFL’s script],” he said on the Macrodosing podcast in 2023.
“So, it was more, like, that’s what practice was about, practicing the script. This is what goes on. This is what we have to do… It’s like WWF, so we know what’s going to happen, but you still have to put on a show.”
Since those comments, NFL fans have been crying about rigged games and providing evidence. Now, Dwight Smith’s previous comments are coming back to light.
Dwight Smith Says the NFL is Scripted

Super Bowl 37 champion Dwight Smith is best remembered for returning two interceptions for touchdowns in the big game. It helped the Bucs to a 48-21 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
What he felt back then is very different from what he feels in the present day. The former Buccaneers Super Bowl Champion joined Ronnie & TKras on Radio Row at Super Bowl 55 and made waves with his comments.
As the host tried to talk about Brady and Mahomes, with the Bucs playing at home for the big game, Smith had something to say. He said he predicted that the league would have a team play at home for the Super Bowl due to the pandemic.

“I don’t believe the game is really decided on the field,” Dwight Smith said. He then claimed that his Bucs team knew every play the Raiders would run before their contest. Smith was just getting started as he railed about how rigged games are in the NFL. At one point, he was asked whether he thought his Bucs’ Super Bowl run was illegitimate. Smith said all of them were.
During his 7-season NFL career, Smith recorded 477 total tackles, 22 interceptions, 10 forced fumbles, and 4 fumble recoveries.
