There were many fans who expressed surprise over Joe Burrow’s Pro Bowl selection this season. But even more will be surprised at what he had to say after someone asked him a certain question at the games this week.

Burrow left lots of people scratching their heads before the action got underway.

First off, he didn’t remove his hat during the national anthem, which did not go down well. Later on, he suggested that there’s no other quarterback in the NFL deserving of his admiration.

Asked whether there’s a QB in the league right now whom he looks up to, the Cincinnati Bengals star said there was no one.

“Right now, nobody. I’m in the NFL,” he replied.

Check him out in the video below:

To be fair, such a question would be better posed to less experienced QBs. Burrow has been in the league since 2020 and is an established pro.

Still, his response could be taken to mean he lacks humility.

In any case, Burrow won’t care. The Bengals signal-caller is known to march to the beat of his own drum and pays little attention to what others think.

Also, we can’t be sure he was serious.

While he got dragged for failing to take his cap off for the anthem, fans didn’t seem to mind his comment.

“He’s so real for that 😭,” one claimed.

“HE’S SO FUNNY HAHAHA 😭😭😭,” said another.

Meanwhile, Burrow’s future in Cincinnati is unclear.

The Bengals quarterback was recently linked with a move to the Minnesota Vikings. An NFL reporter suggested that the NFC North franchise would likely pursue him if his current team made him available.

The Vikings could definitely use an upgrade at QB, but it would depend on whether the Bengals would want to let Burrow leave.
