As great as he is for most NFL fans, Tom Brady is just a regular dad to his kids. The seven-time Super Bowl champion (who won’t root for the Patriots in Super Bowl 60) has tried to pass on some of the knowledge he acquired over the years, but one of his kids isn’t too fond of that.

On Wednesday, Instagram released a new episode of its “Carversations” series on YouTube. The series focuses on well-known parents having conversations with their teenage kids to discuss Instagram-related topics.

Brady and his 16-year-old son, Benny, featured in the most recent episode of the series. Benny dropped a bombshell on his father, roasting him for sending him motivational quotes all the time.

Benny, on the other hand, has a more traditional way to engage with his father.

Benny noted that his father’s dedication to sending him motivational quotes was “crazy.” The retired quarterback replied that he tried to do so with Benny and his brother, Jack.

Benny: “You send the most motivational stuff, it’s like crazy.”

Tom: “I try to send motivational stuff to you and Jack, especially.

Benny: “I send like such stupid, funny videos, and you’ll send the most stoic quotes.”

Tom: “Yeah, there was a Tom and Jerry post that I put on my story.”

Benny “Oh, that.”

Tom Brady proceeded to explain why he prefers to send motivational quotes to his kids over any other type of content.

“I think it’s funny to send you goofy stuff on occasion, but for the most part if I’m going to share stuff with you, I want you to look at it, and see real value in it, like man, why did dad send me that?” the Fox Sports analyst said.

Fans aren’t the only ones curious about Brady’s strange Instagram activity. His son didn’t miss the chance to call him out on that.
