Tom Brady Reveals The Real Reason Why He’s Not Rooting For The Patriots To Win Super Bowl 60, And It Actually Makes A Lot Of Sense

Tom Brady has explained why he won’t be backing the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl.
The former NFL quarterback turned Pats fans off when he made claims of not having a horse in the race earlier this week.
Brady supporting his former team was considered a no-brainer. After all, he won six of his seven Super Bowls there. Furthermore, he has connections to many of the people still with the franchise.
However, he revealed recently that he doesn’t favor either team. The revelation prompted widespread backlash, including from Dave Portnoy.
The 48-year-old offered an explanation this Friday. He pointed out that his new team, the Las Vegas Raiders, just hired Klint Kubiak.
Kubiak, the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, will be appointed as the Raiders new head coach at the end of the season.
Tom Brady Does Have A Dog In The Fight

So while Brady remains a Patriot for life, he won’t be disappointed if the Seahawks win.
“Obviously I said I was a Patriot for life, and I meant it,” he was quoted as saying, per sportswriter Dan Kelley.“So the success of that franchise always brings me great happiness. Have a lot of love and respect for the Kraft family, Josh McDaniels, Mike Vrabel, and other members of their organization as well.”
Brady went on to add:
“As a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, we just hired Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to be our next head coach. I’ve gotten to know Klint and have great respect and appreciation for the job he does. So if he wins, I would be very happy for him as well. Tough to root against the guy I just hired to be my next head coach!
“At the end of the day, I will be happy regardless.”
Sounds like a man with a few dogs in the fight. The difference is, he’s content to sit back and watch whoever comes out on top and be happy either way.
What a hedge.
