After Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 61 Halftime Show, which drew strong reactions from both conservative Americans and the people who fully supported the idea of seeing a Latino artist perform at one of the biggest stages in the world, the NFL might be thinking about replicating the formula.

As he tried to send a message about unity, some people didn’t appreciate it. Kid Rock, who performed in the “alternate” halftime show for Turning Point USA, blasted the Puerto Rican’s presentation.

Now, three artists have emerged as betting favorites to perform in the big game. Oddsmakers see Miley Cyrus, Stefon Diggs’ ex-girlfriend Cardi B and Travis Kelce’s fianceé Taylor Swift as possible favorites to perform at SoFi Stadium next year.

X account “Icon Pop News” reported on Tuesday that Karol G, Camila Cabello and Becky G “are in talks” to perform at the Super Bowl 61 Halftime Show.

This must be taken with a pinch of salt, as the account doesn’t seem to be that serious. It could be a parody to make certain people upset. More so, knowing that the three women are Latino or have Latino backgrounds.

Karol G is a Colombian singer, one of the most popular Spanish-speaking artists of her generation. She performed at the first-ever NFL game in Brazil last year. Camila Cabello (Cuban-born) has also amassed a large fanbase. She performed at the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final in Paris, France. Becky G (born to American parents of Mexican descent), has become a popular voice, too.

It remains to be seen if the rumors hold some truth and if the league will double down on its controversial decisions.
