Dallas Cowboys Front Office Reportedly Had “Loud Verbal” Fights With 4 Agents, Including Brandon Aubrey’s
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

This offseason is a big one for the Dallas Cowboys. The team has missed the playoffs for two consecutive seasons. It marks their first back-to-back postseason absence since the 2019 and 2020 seasons. The franchise has also gone 30 consecutive seasons without an appearance in the NFC Championship game.
To improve, you need the right players in the right positions. Brandon Aubrey is most certainly one of those players. The Dallas Cowboys and the agent for the Pro Bowler agree that he should be the highest-paid kicker in the NFL. However, the disagreement is over how much, per ESPN.
Things are getting quite contentious within the franchise. A source told Essentially Sports that front-office personnel got into loud verbal disagreements. They have also engaged in verbal fights with four different agents over contract extensions or potential free-agent contracts.

The one player that was mentioned was three-time Pro Bowl placekicker Brandon Aubrey.
Jerry Jones has faced criticism for being cautious in free agency over the last few years. He has been hesitant to shell out money when he needs to. That is what led to All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons being traded to the Packers.
Dallas Cowboys Kicker Brandon Aubrey Wants Mega Deal

The Dallas Cowboys have offered Brandon Aubrey a contract that would make him the NFL’s highest-paid kicker. That offer is apparently not enough. The team offered Aubrey a deal that exceeds the league-high $6.4 million average per season for Kansas City’s Harrison Butker.
However, Aubrey’s agent, Todd France, has asked for a deal closer to $10 million per season. That contract would dramatically reset the market for kickers in the NFL.
Unlike anybody else in history, Aubrey has leverage like no other kicker in the NFL. He’s a one-of-a-kind weapon. He is virtually automatic from 50-plus yards. The kicker hit all 10 of his 50-plus-yard field-goal attempts during his 2023 rookie season with a long of 60.
His talent can change the outcome of a game every single week. If the Dallas Cowboys can get into the playoffs, he would most certainly become a problem for the opposing team.
The Cowboys are likely to place the second-round tender on Aubrey at a cost of close to $5.8 million.
