The Maxx Crosby trade saga could take a major turn with the latest update. The star defensive end has been mentioned in multiple trade rumors since the 2025 NFL season, and that possibility appears to be getting closer by the day.
Crosby looks like a solid option for multiple teams, including the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and others. A chance of scenery could happen soon, but the Raiders won’t part ways with him so easily.
At the end of February, Mike Florio reported that the Raiders wanted two first-round draft picks and a player for their best player. One NFL insider confirmed that report, and added that the Raiders won’t change their stance.
Las Vegas Raiders Won’t Lower Asking Price For Maxx Crosby

On Wednesday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that Maxx Crosby wants out of Las Vegas, but he won’t make any noise given his love for the fans. However, the Raiders’ asking price has stopped potential suitors from attempting a move.
“So where do things stand right now with Maxx Crosby? Based on several conversations with league sources, the Raiders have not moved off from their asking price of two first-round picks and a player. Several teams are interested, but decision makers are getting mixed signals from the Raiders in regards to their genuine interest in dealing their star,” Russini wrote.

Crosby has become one of the best defensive players in the league. Perhaps he will need to speak out on his situation and let the Raiders know that his tenure came to an end. Until that happens, the team won’t budget anything.
