Newly released police body camera footage shows New England Patriots players celebrating a little too much earlier this year. The late-night party featured some Patriots players at a Boston restaurant the day after the team won the AFC Championship game.

New England advanced to Super Bowl LX by defeating the Denver Broncos 10-7 in the 2026 AFC Championship game. Led by QB Drake Maye and head coach Mike Vrabel, the team secured its spot in the coveted game against Seattle.

Through a public request, Boston police body camera footage shows the response to the New England Patriots players inside a restaurant that was later penalized by the city. In the released footage, you can see cash on the floor, a DJ, and apparent hookah smoking inside Estella, a restaurant on Temple Place in Boston’s Downtown Crossing.

The police report detailed officers smelling weed, observing liquor, and finding exotic dancers in the business. Even the footage showed at least one stripper being questioned by cops. Police said they received a noise complaint around 2:20 a.m. The Boston Licensing Board voted to suspend Estella’s liquor license for three days as a result.

The Party Did Not Continue For The New England Patriots After The Super Bowl

At Super Bowl LX, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13. The Patriots’ offense was so bad that even his own teammates were taking shots at him. Drake Maye struggled in a 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, completing 27 of 43 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The following month, the team cut Stefon Diggs from the roster. His salary cap charge would rise from $10.5 million to $26.5 million, which prompted the team to release him. Plus, the number of off-the-field issues made it easier to cut him.

Will they be a favorite to make it back next year? The dominoes would have to fall in place again for that to happen.
