The tables have turned on Kay Adams. The FanDuel TV analyst, who has drawn plenty of attention from fans thanks to her social media posts and interviewing style, found herself on the other side of the street during a recent conversation.

Some fans have accused Adams of being too flirty with her guests (as she seemingly did with NBA superstar Kevin Durant last month), but on Tuesday, she was the one being hit on live TV.

Her “Up & Adams” show traveled to TPC Sawgrass to interview stars participating in the 2026 Players Championship, as well as co-hosts who have a passion for golf (i.e., Rob Gronkowski).

Wyndham Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open winner, joined Adams. The host asked him about his frequent equipment changes, which prompted an unexpected response from Clark.

Kay Adams Couldn’t Believe Wyndham Clark’s Comparison Between Drivers And Girlfriend

Clark came up with a wild analogy featuring drivers and girlfriends that caught Adams off guard.

“Sometimes it’s nice to have a week-long girlfriend,” Clark says with a laugh. “I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding.”

A shocked Adams smiled and asked the player: “Wyndham, are you kidding?!”

Clark didn’t stop there and continued with his explanation.

“Yeah, I’m kidding, I just haven’t found the right one, and when you find the right one, you lock it down.”

The host put her microphone down and laid her face down on the table, as she tried to process the conversation.

“You’ve really been swiping left and right on them!” Adams said.

Clark then asked if the conversation had shifted away from drivers.

Clark switched drivers four times in 2026. He seems to be settling on one for The Players this week. He will start his participation on Thursday, as part of the later starters.
