Former NFL Pro Bowl cornerback and special teams returner Adam Pacman Jones claims that Maxx Crosby is set to join another AFC team after the Baltimore Ravens nixed a potential league-altering trade.

Last week, the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to trade Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks. But on Tuesday night, the Ravens shocked the NFL by backing out of the Crosby blockbuster deal after he failed a physical.

After the trade fell through, a new report indicated that the Raiders plan to keep Crosby for 2026. But according to Adam Jones, Crosby is on the verge of being dealt to another AFC North club.

“I got really good sources,” Jones said in a video posted on X/Twitter. “Maxx Crosby will be, might be, in a Bengal uniform.”

Jones said his sources are “really good,” so make of it as you will. But after losing superstar defensive end Trey Hendrickson to Baltimore in free agency, the Bengals obviously have a need for another game-changing pass rusher.

Hendrickson signed a four-year, $112 million deal with the Ravens. Perhaps that will prompt the Cincinnati front office to make an aggressive run at Crosby, which would be a fun way to get back at their division rivals.

Raiders Should Still Consider Trading Maxx Crosby

The Las Vegas Raiders were the worst team in football last year by a country mile. And that was despite Crosby logging 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in 15 games, per Pro Football Reference.

Keeping Crosby helps Vegas in the short term. But this team is years away from contention, so GM John Spytek should still focus on trying to move out his franchise star. Crosby will be 29 when the 2026 season starts, and his trade value won’t get any higher.

The Dallas Cowboys stand out as another logical landing spot for the five-time Pro Bowler. Remember, Jerry Jones has two first-round picks to work with this year, so he could very well dangle one of those selections for the opportunity to land Crosby.
