NFL Star Destroys The Atlanta Falcons For Being a “Clown Show” In Scathing Rant After Joining New Team

Well, new Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson is sure excited to be gone from the Atlanta Falcons’ organization.
Last week, the Cardinals signed Elijah Wilkinson to a two-year deal in free agency worth $6.25 million. The 31-year-old spent the 2023 season in Arizona, with two stints as a Falcon sandwiched in between.
Despite playing three years in Atlanta, it seems that Wilkinson doesn’t have any fond memories of his old club.
Atlanta sports reporter Miles Garrett (not to be confused with the Cleveland Browns superstar) received a screenshot of a tense DM exchange between Wilkinson and a Falcons man.
In their interaction, Wilkinson continuously brought up 28-3 and called out Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts (WARNING: Contains language that is NSFW):

Responding to another fan’s comment on Instagram, Elijah Wilkinson said, “good luck with that clown show over there.”

In another exchange, Wilkinson claims to have “bailed the Falcons out when they had no where to turn.”

Unfortunately, the Falcons and Cardinals are not scheduled to face each other in the 2026 regular-season. So no revenge game here, folks.
Elijah Wilkinson Gets The Fresh Start He Needs

Wilkinson had a forgettable 2025 season in Atlanta, to say the least. According to Pro Football Focus, he took 12 penalties (seventh-most among all offensive tackles) and allowed six sacks.
2025 marked Wilkinson’s first season as a full-time starter. He was used as a rotational piece in the first eight years of his career, never starting more than 12 games in a season before 2025.
Wilkinson obviously needed a fresh start. He now joins an Arizona team that has a budding star at OT in Paris Johnson Jr., although the rest of the offensive line has its fair share of question marks.
