Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes continues to enjoy the offseason, even amid his injury recovery process. Mahomes suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 15 of the 2025 season, ending the Chiefs’ chances to advance to the playoffs.
The three-time Super Bowl champion wants to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season, but that hasn’t prevented him from spending quality time with his family. On Wednesday, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared a series of pictures of her family on the beach and the pool.
Mahomes had a wordless reaction that confirmed he had a nice time.

Patrick Mahomes Could Be Healthy Before Week 1
As he spends time with his family, the updates about Patrick Mahomes make Chiefs fans dream of watching him on the field sooner than expected. Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer reported at the start of March that Mahomes could be ready to play even sooner than Week 1.
“His pain threshold is different, his work ethic is different,” Glazer said on the “Dan Patrick Show.”
“So at first they were like, ‘Oh, you know, start of the season.’ I would probably hedge on him being [back] sooner than that. By far. Because he just attacks things.”
The ACL injury is one of the toughest for professional athletes, but Mahomes wants to defy and defeat the odds. He recorded 22 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 14 games last season.
