Seattle Seahawks Replace RB Kenneth Walker III With 36-TD Phenom In Bombshell Draft Day Trade Proposal

The Seattle Seahawks remain a strong candidate to go back-to-back in the 2026 NFL season. They kept most of the core that won Super Bowl 60 against the New England Patriots, but also saw the MVP of that game leave in free agency.
Kenneth Walker III joined the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this month, leaving a huge void on the Seahawks’ offense. They still have Zach Charbonnet on the roster, but the veteran will need some time to recover from the ACL injury he suffered during the playoffs.
After re-signing Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the largest contract a wide receiver has ever received, the Seahawks need to revamp their running game. A solid candidate emerged, but it won’t come easily.
Seattle Seahawks Urged To Draft Jeremiyah Love In Upcoming 2026 NFL Draft

Craig Ellenport of Athlon Sports mentioned the Seahawks as one of five teams that should trade up for Notre Dame star running back Jeremiyah Love.
“With the final pick of the first round as their best draft capital, Seattle would have to put together a boatload of current and future picks to move up — but it would be well worth it. When the 2026 season begins, Zach Charbonnet will still be recovering from an ACL tear suffered in the playoffs, so the hole created by the loss of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III in free agency is not insignificant. An offense featuring Love and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be fun to watch,” Ellenport wrote.
He also mentioned the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Washington Commanders and Pittsburgh Steelers as options for Love. The Junior running back carried the ball 433 times for 2,882 yards and 36 touchdowns.
