New England Patriots Are Getting Totally Disrespected By Vegas After Winning AFC

The New England Patriots will enter the 2026 NFL season with a chip on their shoulder after losing Super Bowl 60 to the Seattle Seahawks. New England beat the odds, and while some criticized the strength of its calendar, they still moved past opponents to play in the big game.
As strong as they were in 2025, the 2026 season doesn’t seem to be as favorable for the AFC East franchise. According to Michael D. Smith of ProFootballTalk, the Patriots aren’t the favorites to win the division next season.
Instead, oddsmakers have the Buffalo Bills as favorites to win the AFC East (-145). New England comes in second with +150 odds. The New York Jets (+1800) and the Miami Dolphins (+2800) come in third and fourth. After a busy offseason, the Pats and Bills look like solid candidates in 2026.
New England Patriots Reportedly Secured Deal For AJ Brown

The Bills promoted Joe Brady to head coach after firing Sean McDermott. The Patriots made some additions to the roster, including wide receiver Romeo Doubs. Perhaps, if they make the potential biggest trade of the offseason, they could become clear-cut favorites in the division.
Last Wednesday, Rickey Scoops reported that the Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles agreed on a trade that would send AJ Brown to Foxborough.
“I’ve been told that the #Eagles and #Patriots have an agreement in place to trade AJ Brown post-June 1 and should be official June 2. Howie has been trying to get 2026 picks, but his magic did not work this time,” Scoops reported.
The Eagles, however, added a new wide receiver who could convince Brown to stay in Philly.
