New details have emerged following the arrest of one Kwamaine Ford. The 34-year-old is facing allegations of posing as an adult film star to bait professional athletes.
Ford has been charged with nine counts of wire fraud, seven counts of computer fraud. He has also been charged with one count of access device fraud, four counts of aggravated identity theft, and one count of sex trafficking.
According to ProFootballTalk, all agents representing NFL players have received a memo from the NFLPA informing them of a sex-trafficking ring targeting pro football and basketball players.
The memo includes a link to a resource agents can use to determine whether their players are victims.
Ford allegedly posed as a popular pornographic actress who goes by the name of “Teanna Trump.”
Teanna has not been linked to the case, nor has she been accused of any wrongdoing.
Kwamaine Ford Thought Up Plans In Prison

Meanwhile, Ford is also accused of trafficking a young woman and getting her to engage in intimate acts with unsuspecting individuals while being recorded. This is said to have taken place between 2020 and 2024.
“The FBI has advised that Kwamaine Jerell Ford, posing as a female adult film star, lured athletes into providing sensitive information,” the memo reads. “This individual was supposedly able to access many athletes’ iCloud accounts and stole victim information including credit cards.
“Additionally, this individual posing as an adult film star, lured athletes into having sex with an adult female OnlyFans creator, being filmed without their knowledge or consent.”
Ford’s mugshot has not been shared as the Department of Justice does not take or provide booking images.
The NFL and NBA players lured into the scheme have also not been identified publicly, with only their initials mentioned in the indictment.
Ford is said to have hatched his plot while in prison in 2020. He was serving time following a conviction of computer fraud and $325,000 identity theft, similar to what’s noted above.
“Allegedly posing online as an adult film star, Ford is accused of offering to send sexually explicit photos to pro athletes,” the Daily Mail notes.
“Then, having successfully spoofed Apple customer service accounts, Ford would solicit usernames, passwords and authentication codes from victims in exchange for access to the promised pornographic photos, according to the indictment.
“Ford allegedly tricked dozens of victims into divulging their log-in credentials, which he’s accused of using to obtain credit and debit card information.”
“While serving time for stealing credit card numbers from athletes and celebrities to fund his lifestyle, Ford allegedly engaged in the same conduct again,” US Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg said in a press release.
The DOJ accuses Ford of posing as an adult star to recruit and coerce a female into sexual acts with pro athletes.
He then shopped her to athletes, arranging travel and payments.
Kwamaine Ford allegedly instructed the female to record her sexual encounters with the athletes. They had no idea they were being recorded.
He has plead not guilty to all charges.
