What is going to happen with Aaron Rodgers this offseason?

Rodgers usually leaves everyone guessing when it comes to his future, and this year is no different. With Mike Tomlin stepping down as head coach, it is even more unknown whether he might come back to play another season.

Mike McCarthy has since stepped in as a replacement, which could tempt him to re-sign for at least another season. Rodgers had some of his best seasons with McCarthy as his head coach in Green Bay.

With no clear indication, the 42-year-old quarterback will continue to have his name surface in headlines. Now, a top AFC contender might come calling.

Aaron Rodgers could see himself on a team that was one game and a quarterback away from the Super Bowl last year. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio dropped a spicy report on Wednesday, stating that the Broncos have interest in him.

“There’s talk of the Broncos possibly bringing Rodgers in for a visit,” Florio wrote.

“The motivation comes from the possibility that current starter Bo Nix won’t be fully and completely back to 100 percent when Week 1 rolls around.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is expected to be sidelined for months following surgery on a broken right ankle suffered in January. He was placed on injured reserve, ending his playoff participation for the 2025–2026 season.

“This notion conflicts with recent comments from Broncos owner Greg Penner, who declared at the NFL’s annual meeting that Nix is ‘ahead of schedule’ from the broken ankle he suffered late in the playoff win over the Bills and should be good to go for OTAs.”

After the report, 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis stated that the Broncos had zero interest in Aaron Rodgers.

The season did not end the way the Steelers had hoped. However, Rodgers had the most productive season of any Steelers quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger retired. In 16 regular-season games, Rodgers totaled 3,322 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns. He also completed 65.7% of his passes and had a 94.8 passer rating.

Those are good enough numbers for a team to bring him in for at least one year.
