The Cleveland Browns remain adamant about trading Myles Garrett away. Following a magical 2025 NFL season, in which he broke the single-season record for sacks, Garrett won his second Defensive Player of the Year award.

As great as he was, the Browns once again struggled to compete. Naturally, trade rumors surfaced again. Garrett requested a trade last offseason, and some thought he would do the same again. However, general manager Andrew Berry made it clear the defensive end isn’t going anywhere.

“Myles is a career Brown,” Berry said. “He is one of the faces of our organization. I think we’ve been very clear both past and present in terms our feelings. I understand all the questions, but I’ll be honest: I don’t really want to waste a ton more breath on the topic.”

On Sunday, Austen Bundy of FanSided identified an NFC contender as a logical landing spot for Myles Garrett. The Chicago Bears would send their 2026 first-round pick (No. 25), a 2026 second-round pick (No. 60), their 2027 first-round pick, and DE Dayo Odeyingbo in this scenario.

In exchange, the Browns would send Garrett and their 2026 sixth-rounder.

Odeyingbo is miles away from Garrett’s level, but the Browns could use him once he’s fully healthy. Additionally, they would acquire a large number of draft picks to build a competitive team.

Garrett isn’t getting any younger, and he made it clear he would like to win regardless of the place. But that was before he signed a $160 million extension.
