The Kansas City Chiefs put themselves in a complex position with fans after an uninspiring schedule release idea. The AFC West team came up with a series of posts that didn’t sit well with many people.

Using a unique idea to release the schedule is always a big deal for teams. However, the Chiefs missed a huge opportunity this year.

They decided to present their 2026 opponents as sourdough. Unsurprisingly, fans hated it.

Many people thrashed the Chiefs’ idea on social media. They let them know it was simply terrible.

“Might be the most disappointing reveal ever,” PrizePicks wrote.

“This is quite possibly the worst post I’ve ever seen,” one fan said.

“First time I’ve ever seen pics and actually thought, ‘Hmmm AI probably would have been a better option here,’” another fan said.

“Sir, We have to fire another Intern,” a third fan wrote.

“The Chiefs dynasty is officially over. There’s no recovering from this,” a fourth fan added.

After a terrible 2025 season, the Chiefs will enter the 2026 campaign with renewed expectations. Hopefully, their performance on the pitch is better than this schedule release.
