Malik Nabers saw his second NFL season cut short after suffering one of the worst injuries for football players. The wide receiver had everything to shine with the Giants, more so after Brian Daboll promoted Jaxson Dart as the starting quarterback.

The Dart-Nabers duo couldn’t showcase its talents, as Nabers went down in the same game Dart made his first NFL start. Nabers underwent surgery at the end of October, putting him in line to be ready for the 2026 season.

However, fans learned about a setback the wide receiver suffered a couple of weeks ago.

Dan Duggan of The Athletic reported on Wednesday that Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee. The procedure was done to remove scar tissue that caused stiffness.

The surgery, done “multiple weeks ago,” was reportedly a “clean up.” The wide receiver should be ready to take the field with his teammates in Week 1.

In 19 games played, Nabers has caught 127 passes for 1,475 yards and nine touchdowns. He should shine in 2026 under a new regime.
