Super Bowl 61 will make history. The NFL will host the game on Valentine’s Day for the first time ever, which has already raised the expectations.

SoFi Stadium will host it after Levi’s Stadium saw the Seattle Seahawks win their second Vince Lombardi trophy a couple of months ago. According to recent reports, pop superstar Miley Cyrus emerged as the favorite to headline the halftime show.

While it’s only a rumor, fans made their opinion crystal clear.

Many fans disliked the idea of seeing Cyrus perform at SoFi Stadium. Just like some did with Bad Bunny last year, they said the artist wasn’t appealing to the regular NFL fan.

“It’s just a little ironic how the NFL plays music in the stadiums during games that most ticket buyers like or at least recognize, but when it comes to the Super Bowl halftime show they always book acts that appeal to demographics that don’t even have much interest in the games or teams,” one fan said.

“Won’t be watching,” another fan said.

“Not happy with that,” a third fan wrote.

“Another Super Bowl halftime show I won’t be watching,” a fourth fan added.

It seems that whoever the league picks, fans won’t be pleased. It might change once they finally select Metallica.
