Donald Trump and Jaxson Dart had a bizarre exchange on Friday when the U.S. President attended a rally in New York. Trump’s popularity among athletes, especially NFL players, has grown in recent times.
The Bosa brothers have never been shy about their support for the president. On Friday, however, many fans were shocked and upset after learning that Dart supported Trump. He introduced the politician ahead of a New York rally.
“What’s up, what’s up, what’s up. Look, Big Blue Nation it’s a pleasure to be here,” Dart told the crowd. “And without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America: President Donald J. Trump.”
Donald Trump Makes Jaxson Dart Uncomfortable With Sensitive Matter
After taking the podium, Trump directed a series of questions at Dart. Once again, he touched on the subject of transgender athletes.
“We don’t want transgender mutilation of your children, if that’s OK. We don’t want it. No men playing in women’s sports. No men,” Trump said.
“Like, I’m looking at Jaxson. I’d like to know if there is any woman in the audience that thinks that they can tackle that guy? Because I’d like to meet you. I’d like to shake your hand,“ the president added.
He used Dart as an example of how bad things could go if men competed against women in sports.
“I don’t know, Jaxson, you think you could play against women OK? You think you’d have any problems?
Trump then advised Dart against speaking on that matter.
“I don’t think so. But don’t get involved, Jaxson. Don’t get involved, Jaxson. Don’t answer that question.”
He then called Dart “beautiful” while making another curious comment about his legs.
“I’m looking at the legs there. He’s this beautiful guy. He’s got legs like tree trunks,” Trump said. “This is not a good thing for women. This would not be good.”
