Mike McCarthy Fires Pittsburgh Steelers Assistant Coach Amid OTAs
On Friday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the team parted ways with senior assistant special teams coach Derius Swinton II. They made the decision after Swinton violated a club policy.

Swinton has been coaching in the league since 2009. He had stops with the Rams, Chiefs, Broncos, Bears, 49ers, Lions, Cardinals, Chargers and Raiders before joining the Steelers.
Amid renewed expectations for McCarthy and Rodgers, the Steelers now have to find a replacement for Swinton.
