Roger Goodell and the NFL have a lot on their plate at the moment. While the competition remains a top product among major American sports leagues, it is not exempt from criticism.
Besides the ongoing lawsuit led by Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores and two other coaches, the league is dealing with an investigation from the U.S. government.
They are currently under investigation for a potential violation of the Sports Broadcasting Act. The issues stem from the increased fragmentation of its live sporting events. With cable networks and streaming services sharing broadcast rights, fans have to pay increased costs to watch games.
U.S. Congress Officially Summons Roger Goodell to Testify

On Monday, head of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), reportedly sent a letter to Roger Goodell, asking him to testify at a June 10 hearing.
