Tom Compton’s DIY Weekend A Result Of His NFL Experience

Compton spent 10 seasons in the NFL after Washington selected him in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. During his career, he suited up for Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Minnesota, the New York Jets, San Francisco and Denver.
An NFL journeyman, Compton never played for the Kansas City Chiefs. As a result, he never played alongside Kelce.
Swift and Kelce were married Friday night at Madison Square Garden. Reports estimated that roughly 1,000 guests attended the ceremony, while it’s reported that it cost at least $35 million. Chiefs players, coaches, former teammates and celebrities from sports and entertainment were among those invited.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Andy Reid were among the NFL names reported to be in attendance. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony after developing a friendship with Kelce through the movie ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ and other appearances together.
As for Compton, instead of celebrating in New York, he spent the evening crossing another home project off the list.
