Jake Paul Has New $1 Million Challenge For NFL Players — And They’re Already Lining Up To Accept

Jake Paul has doubled down after claiming he could make an NFL roster.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer recently stirred debate by saying he possessed better hands, superior athleticism and a stronger work ethic than many NFL players. 

Paul also claimed multiple teams had already expressed interest in giving him an opportunity once his boxing career ends.

“A lot of people dropping passes on a consistent basis. I have better hands, faster, stronger, and I work harder than them. 

“Really all it’s going to take is me, after boxing, practicing some routes. I have a couple of teams and coaches who have already spoken with me and are interested in bringing me on. It’s going to be quite easy.”

Paul’s comments drew immediate criticism across the football world.

Rather than backtrack, the 29-year-old ramped things up with a new proposal. He’s offered $1 million to any NFL player who could box better than he could run routes.

Jake Paul Already Has Several Takers

The challenge quickly attracted responses from several current and former NFL players, many of whom publicly volunteered to take him up on the offer.

Former superstar wide receiver Chad Johnson was one of them.

Josh Hokit also responded. 

So did Asante Samuel.

Tay Gowan threw his name in the hat as well.

The social media exchange has continued to generate attention, although no official matchup has been announced.

Paul has built much of his boxing career around crossover events and high-profile callouts. His résumé includes victories over former UFC champions and veteran combat sports figures, while he has continued pursuing bouts that generate widespread online interest.

Whether this latest challenge develops into an actual event remains unclear.
