Ahkello Witherspoon entered the league as a third-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. He started 33 of 47 games during his four seasons in the Bay Area.
He recorded 117 tackles and four interceptions with the 49ers. One of those picks went back for a touchdown. He also broke up 24 passes.
After leaving San Francisco, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks. The team traded him before he ever played a snap.
He then spent two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Witherspoon appeared in 13 games and started seven of them. He added 35 tackles and four more interceptions.
The Los Angeles Rams became his next stop. He stayed three seasons on successive one-year deals under Sean McVay.
His strongest year in Los Angeles came in 2023. Witherspoon started all 17 games and finished with 52 tackles and three interceptions.
