“This was my only concern about signing him and Dobbins,” one comment read. “They are GREAT when on the field but how often is that. Praying for a healthy season for all NFL players.”

Others weren’t as worried.
“He kind of always walks with a limp,” someone wrote. “I’ve seen every snap of his career… Jaylen Waddle is hurt almost all the time but he rarely ever misses a game.”

Jaylen Waddle Left Practice Early On Wednesday

The concern comes after Waddle exited practice a day earlier with what head coach Sean Payton described as muscle tightness. Payton later downplayed the issue, per the AP, saying the receiver would be evaluated but adding, “I think he’s fine.”
Denver acquired Waddle from the Miami Dolphins in one of the biggest trades of the offseason, surrendering premium draft capital to pair the former Pro Bowler with quarterback Bo Nix. The Broncos view him as a centerpiece of an offense expected to contend in the AFC.
As of publication, the Broncos have not announced any new injury involving Waddle beyond the previously reported muscle tightness.
Training camp can turn a three-second clip into a full day’s conversation. Broncos fans will be hoping this one turns out to be much ado about a slightly awkward walk.
But, as one of them pointed out, Waddle is pretty durable even when hurt.
